Access to Monaco

BY CAR :

The Principality can be reached :

       By the A8 motorway :

             - Exit 56 for Monaco in the France -> Italy direction

             - Exit 58 for Roquebrune Cap Martin in the Italy -> France direction 

       As well as by :

            - The Basse Corniche (lower Corniche road) along the coast

            - The Moyenne Corniche (D6007)

            - The Grande Corniche (D2564)

BY BUS :

Ligne d’Azur's routes 100, 100X, 110 and 112 link Monaco with Nice and Menton, with a bus every 15 to 30 minutes and several stops in the Principality: Place d’Armes, Rainier III Outdoor Swimming Stadium, Tourist Office, Place des Moulins, Fontvieille, etc.

 

The 101 service also links Eze, Cap d’Ail, Monaco and Roquebrune Cap Martin, with 32 stops along the route.

BY TRAIN :

All the international trains stop at Monaco station.

The Regional Express Trains (TER) make it possible to reach Nice (France) or Ventimiglia (Italy) in 25 minutes, with a train every 15 minutes at peak times.

BY PLANE :

The Principality of Monaco is situated 22 km from the Nice Côte d'Azur International Airport, i.e. 25 minutes by motorway or 7 minutes by helicopter.

The Nice Côte d'Azur International Airport is France's second airport after Paris, and serves more than 86 foreign destinations.

How to get about on foot in the Principality

Monaco Malin is a brochure which shows you how easy it is to get about on foot in the Principality. 

 

Thanks to its public moving walkways, the whole Principality can be travelled on foot without a great deal of effort, in less than an hour.

 

The Principality has 78 lifts, 35 escalators and 8 travelators.

 

The leaflet shows the lifts, escalators/travelators and pedestrian walkways, as well as the electric bike stations and public transport services available in the Principality by district.

 

Tourist attractions, hospitals and other health facilities are also included to help you find your way around.
